Steve Read
Principal
Steve has lived in Tauranga since the mid-1990s — and been a Partner of Young Read Woudberg for much of that time. Prior to 1995, he worked for two large Auckland practices. He also spent three years in the commercial sector in the UK.
Steve has a wealth of experience, and with the firm’s diverse range of clients is continually working with many different types and sizes of business. Steve’s client portfolio includes businesses in the farming, manufacturing, service and transport industries.
Community involvement is important to Steve. He is a past President of Tauranga Sunrise Rotary Club. He has also served on the committees of Racing Tauranga and the Community Arts Council.
Steve and his wife Debbie have two teenaged daughters, Georgina and Madison. In any spare time, he gets out for some cycling, golf and fishing.
