Marie Cooper

Marie is Gisborne born and raised but having lived and worked in Tauranga for over 20 years she well and truly considers the Bay of Plenty home. She joins us after a decade at Ballance, where she held several senior roles within its finance arm.

Prior to this, Marie was with the local office of a large accounting firm where she worked with corporate clients both in the Bay of Plenty and wider New Zealand. Marie holds a Bachelor of Management Studies from Waikato University.

Marie shared “I am excited to become a part of the team, not only at YRW but also with our clients and our mutual business associates. I look forward to working alongside our clients, understanding their businesses and finding out how I can support them as a trusted professional adviser. My background in commercial enterprise has taught me how a great business operates and I’m passionate about using those skills to add value.
